Aquel Don Julio attended Lone Star College and initially pursued a career as a drafter which lead him to work for a Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing company as a designer. This provided him with the experience of working with architects, civil engineers, structural engineers, interior designers, landscape architects and lighting consultants which allowed him to gain valuable experience in the design, of multifamily projects and the construction process from initial design development phase and coordinating with all the multiple engineers and designers by submitting M.E.P. and all other plans through the permit process and construction phase. He also was responsible for walking the buildings from underground plumbing thru pre-sheetrock / coverup inspections and final building energy inspections. Working in this industry is what has provided him with the knowledge to transition to becoming an effective real estate agent and mortgage broker.
My Story
Julio Ruano, born in Redwood City, California, and raised in Northwest Houston, Texas, is a dedicated professional in the real estate field. Julio is a proud father of three wonderful children: Alyssa, Obed, and Belen. Alyssa recently graduated from Aveda Arts & Sciences Institute Houston and Obed recently graduated from Magnolia High School in 2024 and is working on an Associate of Science at Lonestar College and plans on transferring to Texas A&M University in College Station. While Belen the youngest of the three is currently in grade school. His loving wife, Tanya has a successful career as a Radiographer and has worked at a Tier 3 Hospital at Bentaub the most advanced and specialized institutions, sometimes affiliated with universities, that can provide comprehensive treatments and surgical operations. She then became registered as a Mammographer and has worked as a lead tech and has helped open multiple imaging centers since. She has been a constant source of support and inspiration, particularly during Julio's career change. The family resides in Magnolia, Texas, a charming community north of the Greater Houston area and to the west of The Woodlands.
In addition to his professional endeavors, Julio has a creative side, producing remix tracks in Electronic Dance Music (E.D.M.) in his spare time. He enjoys staying active by jogging, working out at the local gym, and exploring the area's biking trails. A lover of the outdoors, Julio also relishes spending time at the beach during the summer, making the most of the beautiful Texas & Florida weather.
